NameMC Voting

Hephaestus includes built-in support for NameMC voting, allowing players to vote for your server and receive in-game rewards.

Voting is handled through the /namemc command, which provides players with quick access to your server’s NameMC voting page.

How NameMC Voting Works

  1. A player runs /namemc in-game.
  2. The command provides a link to your server’s NameMC page.
  3. The player votes on NameMC.
  4. Rewards are granted based on your server’s voting configuration.

Hephaestus does not require players to leave the server confused about where to vote—everything starts from a single, simple command.

Typical Rewards

Servers commonly use NameMC voting to reward players with: - In-game currency - Crate keys - Temporary ranks - Cosmetic perks - Event points or tokens

The reward logic can be customized depending on your network’s setup.

Notes

  • NameMC voting is player-facing and does not require staff permissions.
  • Rewards should be configured to prevent abuse or repeat claiming.
  • Voting availability is subject to NameMC’s voting cooldowns.

Troubleshooting

If players report issues with NameMC voting: 1. Ensure your server is correctly listed on NameMC. 2. Verify the voting link configured for /namemc. 3. Confirm reward handling is functioning as expected. 4. Check NameMC cooldown limits.

NameMC voting is an effective way to increase server visibility while rewarding players for supporting your network.
