Addons

Hephaestus supports a growing ecosystem of official addons that extend the core with optional, specialized systems.
Addons are designed to integrate seamlessly with Hephaestus, sharing the same data model, permissions philosophy, and network-first behavior.

Addons are not required to run Hephaestus, but can be installed to add functionality without bloating the core.

Hephaestus-StaffMode

Staff Mode System

Hephaestus-StaffMode provides a dedicated staff moderation mode designed for active investigations and oversight.

Typical features include: - Entering and exiting staff mode - Inventory separation - Vanish / visibility controls - Moderation tooling integration - Safety and rollback protections

Hephaestus-Reclaims

Reclaim System

Hephaestus-Reclaims adds a configurable reclaim system commonly used on competitive and faction-style servers.

Typical features include: - Rank-based reclaims - One-time or timed reclaim usage - Integration with Hephaestus ranks and permissions - Server-specific reclaim behavior

Addon Philosophy

All official Hephaestus addons follow the same principles:

  • Optional – install only what your network needs
  • Integrated – uses Hephaestus ranks, permissions, and profiles
  • Network-aware – consistent behavior across servers
  • Maintainable – no duplicated systems or data fragmentation

Additional addons may be introduced in the future to cover areas such as: - Economy integrations - Advanced moderation tools - Gameplay utilities - Network automation

Addons will always remain modular and non-intrusive to the core.
